Description: Entorf received his B.S. from Northern Montana College and his masters and doctorate from Texas A&M. He came to Stout in 1967 where he began as a teacher and eventually became Asst. Dean for the School of Industry and Technology. During his 22 years at Stout, he became known for working to strengthen ties between business and industry. Projects in this area included The Center for Innovation and Development, the University Business and Industrial Professor Program, SETAC, Stout Economic Development Committee, and the Case IH Project. He helped establish the applied technology major, the engineering degree, and the B.S. program in construction. In 1989 he left Stout to become Dean at Boise State University.
